Well hello there reeader,
For my birthday me and a couple of friends went into town
and did a little shopping to celebrate and to buy a new outfit to wear out to
dinner in the evening! Here are some of the things I bought and my opinion etc….
A cropped patterned t-shirt from TK-Maxx. I absolutely love
this top, the colours, it’s easy to wear with most things, and it’s not cropped
to short so if you wear anything high wasted very little skin is shown. It’s
just very comfy and fits perfectly! This was £5 – very good value!

Secondly a plain black maxi skirt from republic. This I also
love just soo comfy not too long for us shorty’s of the world and doesn’t cling
and show my belly! A lovely material and great and you can wear it with most
tops and was only £10 in the sale which is pretty decent! (I bought this to wear with my cropped top)

I bought a little dress from New look, plain black with a
cream lace collar. I really liked it in the shop and planned to wear it with a
pullover so it looked like a top and skirt but when wearing the pullover the
bottom got all bunchy. I’m not too keen on wearing it as a dress as I don’t really
like the neckline or arms so I am thinking of returning this one. But great
quality, nice length and very cute, also only £15 which isn’t too bad for a
dress you can wear pretty much anywhere.

I also bought 3 nail varnishes from boots by miss sporty –
now I haven’t really been a nail varnish type of person until this summer when I
have started to wear my heels more which are both peep toe. So when my friend
told me that she found miss sporty the best I had to try it out for myself! Now
it really annoys me when you have only been wearing your nail varnish for a day
and you’re getting into bed look at your nails and half of it has chipped off,
as I don’t have time to keep repainting my nails all the time. I have so far
found miss sport very good considering I have been decorating a friend’s house,
cooking and horse riding they have so far lasted 3 days! I do love one of the
colours especially it’s a metallic colour and gives the illusion of many
different colours in different lights but is predominantly a light blue. Only £1.99
a bottle (they are small) and is normally on a 3 for 2 deal. Also dries very
quickly if you are in a rush, so highly recommend these.

Finally I bought 2 eyeliners called EXTREME 24 hour felt tip
liner by Collection, I bought one purple and one greeny/blue, they are a god
send for long days out when you want to keep a refreshed look for your make up
as they stay strongly coloured do not rub off or smudge when you accidently rub
your eye. The only thing that is annoying is if you just wanted to put them on
to go out for dinner or for the evening as to remove you have to scrub quite
hard which obviously is fairly painful around your eye! But still only costing
£2.50 each from superdrug I just couldn’t resist.

I also bought Scandleyes Mascara by Rimmel London but have
only used once so will review in another post. So far it has been great no smudging
and gave a great effect.
